| Love Feasts "Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart." Acts 2:46 We invite you to come and take part of our Love Feasts. What is a Love Feast? It is a dinner that is hosted at a home which anyone may come to, to enjoy fellowship, conversation and encouraging words over great food. Love Feasts provide an environment in which the Holy Spirit is free to minister to those there through friendships and Spirit filled conversation. Our hope is that the environment of Love Feasts will unite people closer together as a spiritual family and in their relationships with God History of Love Feasts Love Feasts are not anything new. In fact, they were a daily tradition in Jesus’ time. Acts 2:42 describes how the fellowship of believers 2000 years ago spent time dedicating themselves to the apostle’s teaching, to fellowship, to prayer and to the breaking of bread. Verse 46 goes on to describe how they fellowshipped with each other by going from house to house breaking bread together daily. We believe that fellowshipping with each other in this way will not only be a lot of fun, but will also draw people closer uniting in one heart and one mind as sons and daughters of the Most High. Our Vision Currently we are only having Love Feasts once a week at our church location. However, our vision is to soon start having them at people's homes. We hope to have a Love Feast every day of the week in various locations so that people will have easy access to them. Having multiple Love Feasts a week will provide a safe place for people to go to when they need encouragement in their lives, it will also provide an edifying place for those seeking to strengthen their relationship with Christ. How Does it Work? First visit our website to see the Love Feasts that are going on in that week and their locations. Second, contact Linda Ericksen and tell her you are coming so that she can get a headcount. Also tell her if you will be able to bring in your favorite dish to the feast. Interested?
